Few Fisherman realize that the remnant populations of cutthroat are now only found in less than 2% of our western rivers. Panhandle Outfitters will guide you back to the days of Lewis & Clark where you can still experience wild native cutthroat. If continuos dry-fly action is your pleasure it's the trademark of these prized fish. Idaho's St. Joe is nationally classified as a Wild and Scenic River. Imagine yourself on a virgin river where the trout are wild, the flowers are scarlet and the pine trees march straight up the mountain. Home to the westslope cutthroat this freestone fishery offers some of the highest quality and most scenic walk and wade fishing in the west.

It was hunting and fishing grounds for nomadic indian tribes. Miners and trappers passed through the Alta Coulee south of the lake in search of pelt and valuable gem & ore. In the early 1900's, homesteaders settled in the area to scratch the ground for farming. Ranching & livestock came to Alta Lake when my dad bought the land from a homesteader in 1944

We have been professionally guiding for trophy browns and rainbows on the Owyhee River, since 2003.  Located in a high desert canyon, just 50 miles from Boise, Idaho.  We fish the Owyhee year round with the exception of Oct. & Nov. when they spawn. The vast smorgasbord of insects provide the food source for the abundant fish population.  Not only are there great numbers of fish, but also great numbers of large fish.  The average size of the brown trout are 17-21 inches with a few monsters at 2 feet plus

The Olympic Peninsula Steelhead Flyfishing: Fabled waters in a fabled land. Much has been written about the coastal area and fishing, in Washington's last frontier. Many fly anglers consider the Queets River Rain simply the finest steelhead flyfishing river on the coast. Why? First of all, The Queets lies within the Olympic National Park. 500 year old Sitka Spruce and monster Doug fir will remind you this land is held in preserve. Along with it's Pacific Ocean beaches, wildlife such as the Roosevelt Elk to American bald eagle there is nothing mundane about the Queets River watershed. Not as many anglers as most penninsula rivers. Not many guides, you have to have a special permit to guide it and most guides don't get it. The wild steelhead of the Queets River become the epitome of this timeless land. These late winter native steelhead can exceed thirty pounds. Twelve to twenty pound fish are a daily occurrence amongst Dickson anglers. The Olympic Peninsula's Queets River has something for everyone ........if you are into that wild majestic sort of thing.

Our exclusive hunting territory includes three big-game management areas ... GMU 346-352-356 ... all prime hunting. We've got the trophy-class elk and deer, and we have the necessary skills to give you a better chance. About all you have to bring is a good attitude and some stalking and shooting skills. (Also, try to bring ideal weather conditions with you.) Any honest outfitter or guide will tell you that the weather is the key. That's one thing we don't control. It may interest you to know that the state of Colorado, Dept. of Fish and Wildlife, did an extensive study to determine the hunting success ratios of guided elk hunters vs. those who hunted on their own.
