Southampton Outfitters is located in Southampton County, Virginia, where we have over 5,000 acres of land for deer hunting, turkey hunting, bow hunting, gun hunting, and dove hunting. Our goal is to provide our guests with enjoyable well managed hunts with a high rate of success, while maintaining the highest degree of safety possible. When the hunt is done, we want to provide you with a place to kickback and relax. Our comfortable lodge allows you to do just that and when its time for food and drink, it is all family style and all you can eat. Our Deer hunting days start well before sunrise with coffee to get you going. Then we transport each hunter to his or her stands before sunrise. From this point we let the hunters decide how they want to proceed for the remainder of the day. For lunch, our guides pick you up at 12 noon and transport you back to the lodge. Lunches can also be packed out for those who wish to hunt all day. Our hunting guides are also available all day to assist those hunters who have gotten a shot and need to get a deer in or track a deer that was hit. After the hunt is doneand the sun has set everyone is transported back to the lodge for that home cooked meal. This is a great way to end the day of your VA deer hunting trip. Our Deer hunting days start well before sunrise with coffee to get you going. Then we transport each hunter to his or her stands before sunrise. From this point we let the hunters decide how they want to proceed for the remainder of the day. Our turkey hunting is from Mid-April to Mid-May and again start early morning coffee. Then the hunt will begin by going after the gobbler that was roosted the night before. After the morning hunt and lunch, the afternoons are spent doing various activities that you choose. Examples are fishing in our fully stocked 50 acre pond or shooting skeet. Late in the afternoon we will go back out and try to roost another gobbler.
Turkey hunting is very contagious, so if you have not already gotten the bug, come join us for a few days in some of the best turkey land around. You can finish off your Grand Slam with us.

Neighboring the famous Civil War battlefield and within minutes of both Briery Creek Lake and Sandy River Reservoir, Sailors Creek Outfitters is comprised of over 3,200 strictly managed acres of rolling hills, farmland, creek bottoms, agriculture and food plots. It is our mission to provide guests with the best that Central Virginia Outdoors  has to offer. Whether it’s trophy whitetails, strutting toms or wing shooting doves, Sailors Creek Outfitters is your guide to hunting central Virginia. We spend countless hours scouting, setting up tree stands, and planting food plots to ensure not only the highest quantity of game but the highest quality of game that our land can provide. Our deer season starts in early October with bow season. Our bow hunts typically begin by focusing on late summer feeding patterns and food plots and move to the hard woods as the acorns begin to fall. The first 2 weeks of November marks muzzleloader season. Bring your smoke pole along for this magical time of year, the RUT! The rut flows right into our general firearms season. Our turkey population is stronger than ever! We only allow mature gobblers to be harvested to ensure there are plenty of long beards to hunt in the future. We offer both semi-guided and fully guided spring gobbler hunts. Beautiful farmland, hard flying birds, and a well trained dog or two make for one heck of a fun day of quail hunting. Our quail preserve land is a mix of hedge rows, cedars, switchgrass, lespedeza, milo, and millet, all the cover and diversity of natural habitat. Our deer season starts in early October with bow season. As the temperatures continue to drop we focus on winter feeding patterns as bucks try to refuel their run down bodies. We have ladder stands, lock on stands, and ground blinds available but all hunters are allowed to bring climbing stands if you wish. All hunters are required to use TMA approved safety harnesses. To ensure trophy quality all bucks must be a minimum of 16” inches wide with at least 4 score able points on one side. We will have DMAP tags for those hunters that are willing to participate in our deer management plans by harvesting mature does on their trip.
